Envision Financial, a Greensboro-based financial services entity, recently experienced a significant data breach. The breach, which occurred in mid-May 2025, involved unauthorized access to external systems. This incident came to light when suspicious activity was detected in their network. What Happened

On May 17, 2025, we became aware of suspicious activity in our network. We promptly launched an investigation and took a series of immediate steps designed to remediate the issue. We then engaged a leading cybersecurity firm to further secure our systems, determine the cause of what happened, and to further protect your information. We also reported the event to law enforcement. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party accessed two systems belonging to Financial Transparency between May 17 and May 22, 2025.

The breach affected 203 individuals when an unauthorized third party accessed their systems. The breach was discovered on May 22, 2025, five days after it occurred.

Envision Financial encourages affected individuals to remain vigilant against potential identity theft.
