What Happened
On May 28, 2025, Goltens became aware of suspicious activity relating to an employee’s email account. Goltens promptly secured the employee’s email and ensured that the activity did not extend outside of the email tenant. With the assistance of third-party cybersecurity specialists, Goltens also launched an investigation to determine the full scope of the incident. The investigation determined an unauthorized actor accessed the employee’s email account between May 26, 2025, and May 28, 2025. Goltens then conducted a comprehensive review of the entire employee account to identify what information was accessible within the account, and to whom that information relates. Goltens recently concluded its investigation on August 26, 2025, and is providing notification to individuals whose information may be within the email account. Please note that Goltens has no evidence of any misuse of personal information related to this event.
