The breach involved an external system hack, compromising sensitive personal information. The incident was discovered on June 6, 2025, though the breach occurred a month earlier on May 7, 2025. What Happened

On or about mid-May 2025 through early June 2025, NBOA’s network appears to have been the subject of an unauthorized and illegal intrusion, during which the access or acquisition of personally identifiable information may have occurred. NBOA discovered the intrusion on June 6, 2025. NBOA’s cyber forensics investigators are reasonably certain that the INC Ransomware organization is responsible for the intrusion.

The breach affected individuals whose personally identifiable information, such as full names, addresses, and insurance policy numbers, were accessed. NBOA was targeted by the INC Ransomware organization, and the breach was discovered on June 6, 2025.
